TRUSTED BY FOUNDERS, STARTUPS & SMEs
Let us help you settle issues early on through our workplace mediation service.
Dragon Argent provides experienced, accredited mediators to help organisations address workplace conflict quickly and constructively.
Our mediators can help to resolve conflicts between individuals in a line management relationship, between other colleagues (internal or external), or between teams. As well as providing an alternative to grievance or disciplinary procedures, mediation can deal effectively with all kinds of conflict in almost any situation where those concerned are willing to participate and an informal solution is possible.
As impartial third parties, our mediators enable participants to have a structured conversation, to build understanding and find mutually acceptable solutions, thus offering the chance of lasting resolution. We use the facilitative model of mediation.
We don’t judge. We don’t take sides. We’re 100% confidential, and 100% focused on getting your business back to normal.

OUR MEDIATION PROCESS
Our mediation process helps to avoid more formal processes, such as going to employment tribunal, stop more grievances being raised and avoiding tribunal costs.
Here’s a quick step-by-step guide to how mediation works:
Mediation is held by a neutral person (a 'mediator'). Our mediator is impartial. This means they do not take sides. They’re there to help everyone involved find a solution they can all agree to.
All parties sign the Dragon Argent’s Agreement to Mediate form before mediation commences. This binds them to the same levels of confidentiality that are an accepted norm in all other forms of mediation.
Relevant information is shared by each party and the mediator beforehand. This can be in person or, if this is not practicable, via phone.
All sides will meet for confidential discussions, both separately with the mediator and, by agreement, face-to-face with each other.
5. Information shared with the mediator by each party is confidential and only disclosed to the other party by prior agreement.
6. The mediator’s role is to help find agreement. They may help a party test the strength of a case in private and may suggest how a proposed solution might be received by the other party. However, they will never take sides.
7. Once a way forward has been reached, a written, binding agreement is drawn up immediately and its implementation planned.
Note: We assist businesses on various general employment matters: Contract drafting, Staff handbooks and policies, structuring employee benefits, post-termination restrictions, intellectual property and data protection.
