JOEL LOMOTEY

Joel specialises in complex multi-party commercial disputes, with expertise in commercial, contractual, property and civil fraud cases. He has a track record of working with clients and stakeholders at all levels, both in the United Kingdom and internationally, including high net worth individuals, trustees, and professionals. He has worked on multi-million-pound disputes, involving obligations as a fiduciary and breach of trust, and has assisted in obtaining midnight injunctions to save companies from malicious creditors. His litigation experience covers High Court litigation, Court of Appeal, and judicial review. 

Prior to joining Dragon Argent, Joel worked with leading solicitors and barristers, where he gained valuable insight into decision-making and litigation strategy, as well as working for a leading national firm where he handled financial litigation matters for a legacy bank in the United Kingdom. Joel holds a Master’s degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from Queen Mary University of London and he is also an active member of the Junior LSLA. 

Outside of work, Joel enjoys working out, analysing formula one teams, indulging in good food and watching Arsenal play lower league opposition.
